Agrivoltaic trackers (agri-PV trackers)
Our agrivoltaic trackers are designed to solve the challenges of integrating agriculture and solar energy on the same land, with optimal performance in both energy production and crop quality. We offer three types to suit your project: conventional, advanced and advanced high capacity.
Conventional agrivoltaic tracker
Tracker with one or two modules in portrait whose ground clearance meets the minimum requirements for an installation to be considered agrivoltaic. It combines solar generation with farming while keeping all the advantages of solar tracking.
Advanced agrivoltaic tracker
Alphatracker’s advanced agrivoltaic tracker system makes it possible to work under the panels with standard farm machinery. It adapts to any type of crop, offers flexibility and versatility, and its design follows the terrain closely, easing installation and maintenance. It also significantly reduces the need for excavation, simplifying the works and minimising the impact on the land.
Advanced high-capacity agrivoltaic tracker
High-capacity agrivoltaics, a term coined by Alphatracker, describes solar trackers able to adapt to the crops already present on the land where the PV plant is installed. They accept wide variations in post spacing and ground slope, maximising both electrical and agricultural output. An efficient, cost-effective way to bring agrivoltaics to vineyards, orchards or olive groves already in production.
Adapting to existing crops and sloped terrain with Flexslope
Thanks to the design of the high-capacity tracker and patented adaptation solutions such as Flexslope, an agrivoltaic installation can be built over an existing crop on land with slopes and irregularities. Farming is not interrupted: local agricultural work continues, the profitability of the land increases, the environmental and agronomic impact is reduced and civil works are saved.

Smart control for the crop
Our smart control adjusts the position of the PV modules to optimise growing conditions, regulating the light and shade the plants receive at each moment of the day. This achieves a balance between solar generation and healthy crop development. With our Multicontrol system you can also manage several trackers from a single control unit.
Frequently asked questions
What is an agrivoltaic tracker?
A single-axis tracker designed so that the PV plant coexists with farming: it provides the ground clearance, spacing and stiffness the crop needs and orients the modules to balance power generation and shading.
What is the difference between the three models?
The conventional model meets the minimum clearance for an installation to be agrivoltaic; the advanced model allows standard farm machinery to work under the panels; and the high-capacity model adapts to existing crops, variable post spacing and slopes.
Can it be installed over a vineyard or orchard in production?
Yes, that is exactly what the high-capacity agrivoltaic tracker is designed for: it adapts to existing crops and to irregular terrain.
How is shading over the crop controlled?
With our smart control, which adjusts module position throughout the day to regulate the amount of light and shade the plants receive.
